I urge you to see the world. Travel far, travel wide. Live with strangers. Eat weird food with a weirder names. Talk to people on the street. Get drunk with someone you have never met. Learn a new language, or three. Choose your own rituals. Write it all down. As for me? I’m in love with cities I have never visited and people I have never met:
1. Tango under the starlit sky by the Seine in Paris.
2. Walk through the Tunnel of Love in Ukraine with someone I love.
3. Read Act 5, Scene 3, of Romeo and Juliet in Stratford-upon-Avon.
4. Try my hand at river rafting on the Siang river in Arunachal Pradhesh.
5. Rent a villa in Sorento, a small town in Southern Italy, and write a book.
6. See if Burning Man is really worth all the hype that surrounds it.
7. Watch the Northern Lights spectacle in Iceland. How could you not?
8. Stroll through the infamous Russian Market in Cambodia, after a day on the beautiful beaches on Phnom Penh.
9. Rage at Coachella with flowers in my hair and love in my heart.
10. Spend a few nights in Touphema, Nagaland. Dance with the locals around the bonfire after dinner.
